Our Past Events

Our last MUN conference, held on June 2nd, was a resounding success, exemplifying KSMUN's commitment to excellence in diplomacy and global awareness.

 

This conference featured two dynamic committees, each delving into critical international issues. In the Beginner Committee of UNESCO, we focused on the topic of "AI Safety", providing a nurturing environment for novices to hone their diplomatic skills while discussing the implications of artificial intelligence.

 

Simultaneously, the Intermediate Committee of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) delved into the complex matter of "Handling the Russo-Ukrainian Conflict," challenging our more experienced delegates to seek peaceful resolutions to a pressing global concern.

 

While no resolutions were ultimately passed, and the occasional mention of gummy bears and numerous vetoes added a touch of humor to the proceedings, both committees undeniably showcased the unwavering dedication, thorough research, and a strong spirit of cooperation that lie at the core of Kuei Shan Model United Nations.
